I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas yesterday.

So this was my outfit for Adam's work party Saturday the 22nd. And yes those are skinny jeans.  One of my first pair ever. My shirt is a hand me down from Sarah that fits perfectly now.  It took a few months but it's a favorite of mine, so thank you Sarah.  After we got to Rodizio Grill at Trolley Square, one of Adam's co-workers told me that I get smaller and smaller every time he sees me.  So sweet and true. hehe!!  So while everyone was enjoying delicious Brazilian food I was talking to one of Adam's co-workers and his wife.  I had to keep myself distracted, but I did share a Key Lime  Pie with Adam and I had a Mango Limeade.  After dinner they started the present exchange.  Four of the five guys that started Planswift, brought four big gifts.  A laptop got chosen right after I went up and then Adam picked the 32" flat screen tv. There was also a colored nook and at Ipod nano.  So the rules were that you had to be an employee for a while so none of the newbies or their spouses could get them, and then if I would have picked that laptop first that would have been our gift, but the tv is great as soon as we can find a some where to put it.  lol!!  Ariel won't let me live that laptop slip down though. hehe!!  Also the big gifts couldn't be stolen which is awesome.  My gift was awesome.  A soft warm blanket, hot cocoa, mugs, mini marshmallow's  and a $10 gift card to Barnes and Noble.  We made out like bandits.

On Sunday I put together an awesome Sharing Time for a combined sharing time that the gals in the presidency and our awesome chorister and pianist helped with.  My mom gave me her felt board that she made along with a felt nativity.  So that's what we did and we read the Nativity Story from the New Testament   It was amazing and the spirit was strong.

Christmas Eve brought a visitor and snow. It's always nice to have a white Christmas.  I put all of my meals together, other than breakfast, for Christmas Day as well.  I was determined to be prepared.

I woke up early Christmas morning to run and the boys slept in and Ariel was with her dad but got up before me.  So after my run we unwrapped Santa gifts and then we got ready to go to Adam's parent's for a brunch.  We did our families Christmas when we got home.  Well after Ariel, Adam, and Siko came back from my parents.  While at Adam's parents  we were about to leave to go to my parents when DK threw up all over me and himself.  It was bad.  So it was change him, change me, and thank goodness to knew Christmas clothes and thanks to Ariel for letting me wear one of her pair of pants home.  So I was planning on going in the shower when we got home but it was snack time so I decided to eat it and while i was poor DK threw up again. So it was change him again and his bedding.  The third time I got the bucket it out.  No fever and he was up and running round after that third time and ate some dinner.  I think he didn't chew his string cheese very well and it couldn't digest.  He's fine this morning too. Poor kid.  Adam said I was a champ through out. I only gagged once and that was when I was taking off my shirt. (I happened to be wearing the same outfit as above but with a different necklace.)  So it was good that I had ll my meals put together. lol!!  I guess you never know.  But it was a good day despite for DK.

I get to go shovel and go to Costco.  I wouldn't go today but I'm afraid the weather will be worse tomorrow.  I am more worried about all the people there to exchanged gifts. hehe!!  Maybe I will wait till tomorrow.  I have a lot to do today.  Have a great day all!!

So I have new running gear!!

My left knee has been bothering me for a while so two weeks ago I went to see my doctor about it.  He said there's a tendon that is funny because of my crooked knee cap. Awesome.  So I get to wear this brace that has an insert on the left side in the shape of a J to help push my knee cap.  My knee feels better running but still hurts and does weird things when I'm just walking around and kills me when I go upstairs.  I have a hard time with some squats to strengthen my quads so I'm sure I'll have to go see a knee surgeon eventually.  It just sucks because that costs more money, so I don't know.  My runs have been crappy lately and I don't know if it's me or my watch.  The watch will say that my heartrate all of a sudden will go up to 166 or in the 170's when I'm barely jogging.  As soon as I walk again it drops to the 120's. The other day it got over 200. What the heck? I had the batteries checked and they are fine. I need to look online and talk to the company that made it. It's not that old for crying out loud but it's super frustrating because it screws up my calorie count.  Garg!! I can't win someday's.

So we've been trying to modify our mortgage loan all year and they finally came back and approved a fifty dollar a month drop.  Okay. That's not really helping but whatever. Now I gotta see if I can put money away every week to save up to pay it.  Although, I've been trying that since July.  It's frustrating and I'm trying to stay positive and trying to stress out too much but it's hard because I don't know where we'll be in 6 months.

On a happy note someone dropped off a fifty dollar gift card to us tonight while we were at the Walker Cousins Christmas party. So thank you secret Santa or angel.  That will help the next time I go grocery shopping.  Also a few weeks back I went to Sarah's to measured and the biggest drop this time was my body fat %.  It's down to 29.8% so I am officially in the overweight category.   My BMI is down to 26.6.  Awesome, Awesome.  I'm also down to 153 so that's 72 pounds gone.  I was hoping to be down to 150 this week but alas, Aunt Flo is on the way.  Ariel is waiting to steal my lappy so I will say goodnight.  Sorry it's been so long. I've been busy with little things.
