So the last three weeks have been rough. I think most of it has been the stronger anit-inflammatory pills. But I only lost 2 pounds in three weeks. The bad news is is that I have three weeks to loose 18 pounds which means 6 pounds each week. Not going to happen. So I'm sorry to disappoint you but I won't make my year goal. But I haven't given up so that is the good news.
It's been four weeks since I saw my knee doctor and four weeks since I've ran. Well two weeks ago when I was watching the biggest looser on Hulu while I walked two of the contestant were trying to run for 5 mins at 6 mph. I thought I wonder if I could do that. So I did at the end of my workout today and oh my heck. My lungs were on fire. hehe!! They aren't used to that much heaving. My knees did okay with it but I won't do it again. I was just curious. That's the fastest I've ran so far. This is a short update. Thursday I go to Sarah's for a measure. I can't wait. Sleep good all!!

I just knew it!!
So sure enough. Loosing 6 pounds in two weeks jinxed me. .2 ounces lost. At least it didn't go up. On top of that before I got up I had a dream that the scale went up...high. I got to stop working myself up before I weigh in. I also had to make sure that weight gain isn't a side affect from my anti inflammatory. Nope. I have to call the Dr for sudden unexpected weigh gain or loss. So here's to hoping next week is awesome. I have been kicking around the idea of doing resistance 3 times a week. I can't wait to have insurance again so I can go see Dr. Toronto to know for sure about RAGNAR. I don't want to run if it will make my knees worse. I won't risk any other injury. Kyle is still planning on running it. He's super excited. I wish I could run it with him, Sarah, and Chris. I need to go clean mostly because it needs and because I don't have anything else to say. I'm pretty boring today!!

What a week!!
So it's been a week and a day since I was told I couldn't run. What have I been doing you ask? Well I have and awesome treadmill that inclines so I've been walking as fast as I can and inclining it between 0-6%. It gets my heart rate where it should be and I'm burning as many calories as I was when I was running. My knees are doing great. They hurt if I bend funny or the kids get too rough. I go after them more now when I do resistance, especially yoga, so they don't knock me off balance or run into my knee. Yesterday I spent 2 1/2 hours in Primary Children's ER with Siko. He has what they call a Hydrocele. Look it up to find out what exactly it is. It has to do with his genitals and it's something that my require surgery. Boy we sure know how to have fun in this family. But that's not it. He came into our room barking at 4:45 this morning. Thanks to an awesome pediatrician who gave us extra meds for just in case. Thank you Dr. Jackson.
Saturday I will be getting on my in laws elliptical I haven't done that in forever. I'll be ready to bring the sweat on while I'll keep catching up with Downton Abby. Adam got a huge bonus from work. Totally unexpected but very much appreciated. Just when you think you may not be able to do what you have been or need to do this happens. Thank you to his work and to our Heavenly Father. Blessings come all the time and am thankful for everyone. Big and small. Tomorrow another weigh in. I'm nervous but here's to at least a pound or two. Have a great day!!
