It's been nearly three months but....
My birthday is coming up on Monday and I wanted to update my blog. The last few months have been rough for my and my family so many ways. I've been hating to get on the scale, it doesn't help my mood. I've been weighing in every two weeks now and I got my exercise bike so that's awesome. My spare tire is just big and annoying and I can't wait to go see my OB to see if there's anything that can be done about it. I know my abs are getting stronger and stronger and I can see some definition through the saggy skin. Sorry if you eating and just read that. hehe!! So when I weighed a month about I was down to 138 or 87 pounds down. Two weeks ago I gained three pounds. I was so upset till I realized what I did. I bought onion salt instead of onion powder and because I put the left over onion powder on top of the onion salt it took a while for me to realize what I did. Duh!! I know!! So it was mostly water weight because when I weighed myself today I dropped 9 pounds. I am down 93 pounds and I couldn't be happier. It feels so good. I never thought I would be 7 pounds from my goal. So happy birthday to me on Monday. hehe!! Thanks to everyone who is still interested in my progress. You've been some of my biggest support. Oh and I'm looking into becoming a certified personal trainer and a fitness nutrition specialist. Yeah!! I just have to be able to afford it.

Day 365 or maybe 366 since last year was a leap year!!
When I started my second weight loss journey I did the "right" way enabling me to loose tons of inches as well as pounds. My goal was to get to 100 pounds by today but alas only 84. I am proud of that 84 pounds that I've lost but I've only lost 4 pounds in 6 weeks so it's a bit disappointing I'm a little disappointed in myself that I couldn't get to my 100 goal but I will try my darnedest to get down to 125 by my birthday. However I won't hold my breath!! Adam did take pics of my when I was about 82 pounds down but we've been busy so he hasn't been able to put them side by side with my first pics yet. Hopefully soon.
I did loose 80 pounds with my meal plan and working hard in that year. There has been a lot of small bumps in the road on my way that have helped to hinder me. Mostly it was me and my cravings that I did give in too. I can't wait to go shopping with Ariel next Friday. I get to buy a new swimsuit. Other than when I was pregnant with DK I haven't bought one since Adam and I were dating. Crazy. I hope everyone is having a better week than me. Thank you for taking this journey with me.

I did something naughty today!!
So the last three weeks have been rough. I think most of it has been the stronger anit-inflammatory pills. But I only lost 2 pounds in three weeks. The bad news is is that I have three weeks to loose 18 pounds which means 6 pounds each week. Not going to happen. So I'm sorry to disappoint you but I won't make my year goal. But I haven't given up so that is the good news.
It's been four weeks since I saw my knee doctor and four weeks since I've ran. Well two weeks ago when I was watching the biggest looser on Hulu while I walked two of the contestant were trying to run for 5 mins at 6 mph. I thought I wonder if I could do that. So I did at the end of my workout today and oh my heck. My lungs were on fire. hehe!! They aren't used to that much heaving. My knees did okay with it but I won't do it again. I was just curious. That's the fastest I've ran so far. This is a short update. Thursday I go to Sarah's for a measure. I can't wait. Sleep good all!!

I just knew it!!
So sure enough. Loosing 6 pounds in two weeks jinxed me. .2 ounces lost. At least it didn't go up. On top of that before I got up I had a dream that the scale went up...high. I got to stop working myself up before I weigh in. I also had to make sure that weight gain isn't a side affect from my anti inflammatory. Nope. I have to call the Dr for sudden unexpected weigh gain or loss. So here's to hoping next week is awesome. I have been kicking around the idea of doing resistance 3 times a week. I can't wait to have insurance again so I can go see Dr. Toronto to know for sure about RAGNAR. I don't want to run if it will make my knees worse. I won't risk any other injury. Kyle is still planning on running it. He's super excited. I wish I could run it with him, Sarah, and Chris. I need to go clean mostly because it needs and because I don't have anything else to say. I'm pretty boring today!!

What a week!!
So it's been a week and a day since I was told I couldn't run. What have I been doing you ask? Well I have and awesome treadmill that inclines so I've been walking as fast as I can and inclining it between 0-6%. It gets my heart rate where it should be and I'm burning as many calories as I was when I was running. My knees are doing great. They hurt if I bend funny or the kids get too rough. I go after them more now when I do resistance, especially yoga, so they don't knock me off balance or run into my knee. Yesterday I spent 2 1/2 hours in Primary Children's ER with Siko. He has what they call a Hydrocele. Look it up to find out what exactly it is. It has to do with his genitals and it's something that my require surgery. Boy we sure know how to have fun in this family. But that's not it. He came into our room barking at 4:45 this morning. Thanks to an awesome pediatrician who gave us extra meds for just in case. Thank you Dr. Jackson.
Saturday I will be getting on my in laws elliptical I haven't done that in forever. I'll be ready to bring the sweat on while I'll keep catching up with Downton Abby. Adam got a huge bonus from work. Totally unexpected but very much appreciated. Just when you think you may not be able to do what you have been or need to do this happens. Thank you to his work and to our Heavenly Father. Blessings come all the time and am thankful for everyone. Big and small. Tomorrow another weigh in. I'm nervous but here's to at least a pound or two. Have a great day!!

T minus 80 pounds with 20 to go!!
I have not weighed 145 pounds since I was 14 and that was the beginning of my 9th grade year. So 21 1/2 years later I am finally back to that weight. And I am so excited to loose the next 20 pounds. I have lost 6 pounds in two weeks and that is the biggest lose I've had in a long time. I have to really dig deep and be super good to get the 20 pounds off and then I get to maintain it. I can't wait to get back up to Sarah's for a weigh and measure and maybe even a shopping trip. I can't wait to see the BF% and my BMI number not to mention the inches gone. With my limited cardio right now and possibly forever I get to find a new love. Of course my mother in law was excited when I told her I'd be coming to use the elliptical more often. hehe!! I will be pricing a family gym pass for West Valley and Magna and even pricing some stationary bikes. I'd prefer to find a reasonable gym pass so the whole family can go. But I would love to go to water aerobics again and I tried to get Ariel to be excited to go with me but apparently only "old" people do that. Silly girl. It rocks. If I can get my mother in law to come over after to work to go with me and maybe my mom and sisters if they want and who ever else wants to come, that will rock. I've got a lot of research to do.
I've spent too many nights on the couch this week. First Sunday when I was sick and then last night after I got woken up but a bark in the boys room. I go in there and there is poor Dakota sitting up barking like a seal. We instantly got the couch ready and opened up the window. Once Adam went back to bed I got him calmed down and after what felt like an hour of him talking to himself and breathing really had and cloudy he finally fell asleep. By this morning he's still barky but he was breathing really good while he slept which is good. He woke up happy too which rocks. So I get to call the Dr. and get him today because after today we have no insurance for who knows how long. I had to cancel the appointment I made with a sports dr about my knee for Monday because of the insurance issue. Adam's work is in transition from another company buying them so hopefully we'll get it insurance pretty quick. So I need to get the dishes done, clean the basement, and get a shower on before I take DK, So have a great day everyone. And remember to get moving some how!! ;)

Can I get a "woot-woot"?
Ten months ago today I went to Sarah's for my first weigh and measure. Four days later I started my meal plan. I was actually hoping to have gotten this far before the end of December but I won't complain. This morning when I weighed I wasn't expecting a lot, so it's pretty safe to say that I got a little excited at the number I saw. It read 150.2. Yes folks, I am down to 150.2 pounds which means a total of 75 pounds gone. Bye-bye pounds. On top of that I went to Sarah's last Thursday for a measure and I lost 3 inches in my waist, woo-hoo, and I am down another 1% in body fat. She said 4% more and I will be in the normal body fat percentage. I can't wait. The bad news is I have 9 weeks to get to my goal so I will have to loose nearly 3 pounds a week to get there. If I have to push it out a little more I will. I just have to be on my very best behavior. I can do it. Even when I'm feeling weak I have to be extra strong. I hope no one would be disappointed in me if I have to push my goal out to the first part of April.
I've been watching the biggest looser's 14th season and it's inspiring. To see the contestants struggle but stick to it and push through it is amazing. I feel the same way still. I have days where I have to push through a run, mostly cause of my knee that I will be having looked at by a specialist soon, and even Tuesday when I did my weight loss Yoga with Bob Harper, I had to push. Getting fit and staying fit isn't easy but it's so worth it. It's so worth it. If I can to it, not only once in ten years, but twice, anyone can do it. So when you are ready, here I am to help in anyway I can. Thank you all for taking this journey with me and continuing it with me. All of your support has truly been there to help me. Thank you.
